Graduation Ceremony, Glittering Award Ceremony for Olympiads & Scholar Badge Winners
To honor our young graduates who move from the threshold of a protective and a hand holding environment to an environment where they will take the onus of responsibility of doing their work on their own and learn to be a little more independent, a Graduation Ceremony was held on 26th March 2017.
The students of Class Prep donning green gown and caps took an oath to do their best in academics, be more responsible and show respect to the rules of the class and school. They have dreams for the future and promise to reach their goals and fulfill their dreams.
The exemplary performance of the students of Delhi Public School HRIT Campus in the English, Science, Computer, Mathematics, and Hindi Olympiads is reflected in the number of students bagging Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.
Basant Panchmi along with the welcome of spring season, is also associated with Goddess Saraswati. On this day, people worship Goddess Saraswati; hence, it is also called the day for Saraswati Puja. .The harsh winter gave way to the spring blossoms at DPS HRIT Campus. Tiny tots dressed in yellow ushered in the new season. Students participated in the poojja and the hawan which was held seeking the blessings of the goddess of learning., culture, wisdom, music, and arts.

Bidding adieu to our second batch as they prepare to step into the world brings a lot of memories flashing back. A word of gentle reminder to our lovely children – tread on the right path, be courteous and gentle, confident and steadfast in your beliefs…..Fare-ye-well!!
To celebrate the spirit of patriotism, Delhi Public School HRIT Campus organized the Annual Sports Meet for Classes I to V. The 68th Republic Day was celebrated in all grandeur and festivity. The spirit of unity, discipline, team spirit, endurance and sportsmanship along with a feeling of patriotism was expressed through the colourful thematic races with innovative props for the occasion.
Patron Ms Deepanjali Agarwal declared the Meet open. Students showed their mettle in sack race, flag race, rabbit race, musical flag race and statue race. The winners were felicitated by the Managing Directors Ms Vaishali Agarwal, Ms Priyal Agarwal and the Principal of the school. Pushkal Kumar and Punya Singh Chandel were also lauded for the laurels they won in skating. The festive event came to a close with the National Anthem. Sweets were distributed to all present.
DPS MEET function -2017
To provide a common platform to DPS schools, an interaction with Principals and students was organized for 7th January 2017 at Delhi Public School HRIT Campus, Morta, Ghaziabad. The Chief Guest Shri Salman Khurshid ji; Ex Minister, Government of India, lighted the ceremonial lamp. The other dignitaries to grace the occasion were Shri Naseeb Pathanji, Ex MMLC, UP Govt., Shri RS Parasher ji, Secretary, DPS Trust, Shri Gurbax Singh Chhabra ji, Director – Academics, DPS Trust, Ms Anuradha Sinha ji Educationist and the principals from various schools. Views were exchanged by the Principals of different schools on best practices in schools towards the betterment of education. The resource person conducted a seminar for the teachers for implementation of curriculum in an integrated manner. In the Inter school Meet students from participating schools showcased their talent in form of dance and street plays. The street play by the students of class IX of DPS HRIT was presented with a lot of élan and enthusiasm on the topic,” Impact of Social Networking”. The dance based on the theme “Save Girl Child” was applauded by one and all present. The programme concluded with the valedictory function followed by inspiring words by the chairman of HRIT Group of Institutions Shri Anil Agarwal ji in which he motivated the students to take part in such activities as it gives a boost to their morale and confidence.
ANNUAL DAY AT DPS HRIT-2016
DPS HRIT wore a festive look, illuminated with shining faces as it geared up to celebrate the Annual Function of the school showcasing the theme,” Dollyvood Award Night”. It was celebrated with glitz, glory and enthusiasm on Sunday 13th December 2016 and the evening itself was reserved for a gala presentation. The school was privileged by the presence of Brigadier Dinesh Guptaji who in spite of his busy schedule, kindly graced the occasion as the chief guest at the coruscating function. The programme commenced with welcoming the guests with bouquets followed by lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Brigadier Dinesh Guptaji escorted by the Chairman of HRIT Group of Institutions Er. Anil Aggarwal, Vice Chairman Anjul Aggarwal, Patron Mrs Deepanjali Aggarwal, Managing Director of DPS HRIT Campus Ms Vaishali Aggarwal, Ms Priyal Aggarwal and the Principal Mrs Meenakshi Chatterjee. After seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha, the cultural programme followed.
The programme was based on Bollywood theme that enthralled the audience as the students presented their fountain of talents during the fantastic series of presentations. The curtain opened with a prayer song of the 50s era ‘Ae Malike Tere Bande Hum’. The tiny-tots showcased their talents through their beautiful and impactful dance performances on a medley of bollywood songs. The evolution of the dance and music of Bollywood from the 50s down to the present and various stages i.e. Disco, family theme, Quawalli, Rock, Classical, Sufism, Twist etc were portrayed. The bright, colourful theme inspired dresses and props were appreciated by all. The senior students also followed the legacy of bollywood songs by performing on ‘Kunfaya’, ‘Ek Do Teen’, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno‘ etc. The performance enthused every heart and soul. The Principal, Mrs Meenakshi Chatterjee in her speech traced the long strides and significant progress made during the past years by DPS HRIT. She also congratulated the first batch of class XII students on their incredible performance on securing 100% success in the examination conducted by the CBSE. All students of class X also secured 100% success in the exams and 5 of them scored 10 CGPA. Ujjawal Tyagi, 10 CGPA holder was felicitated by the Chief Guest. The students also secured 1st and 3rd Position in NCSC in Junior and Senior Category respectively. Besides this our students also won the Jet Toy Making challenge organized by Maruti Suzuki India. The Chief Guest showered his blessings on the students and appreciated the performances. He also released the Annual School Magazine “Dream Weaver”.
The Vote of thanks was proposed by the Principal. The programme culminated with the National Anthem. The entire programme was applauded by everybody present and will always remain etched in the memory of one and all.
Planetarium and science exhibition 'Imagine, Invent…Inspire
On 22nd October ,2016, Delhi Public School, HRIT Campus invited the budding astronauts; the Gaganauts, to explore the realm of the unknown space by organizing the Planetarium Show for students not only from their own school but also from other schools in Ghaziabad.
Astronomy being an interesting subject for students and with a universal reach, appeal and applicability, it is a subject that inculcates scientific temper. The starry sky and the space exploration programme arrived at the doorstep under the mesmerizing starry sky of DPS HRIT.
A science exhibition too was organised where students showcased their scientific experiments under the guidance of their teachers. Some of the model of a fire extinquisher was much appreciated by the visiors.
The students conducted and explained to the concept and theory involved in change of chemical energy to electrical energy through an experiment. The models of life cycle of a moth and portable vacuum cleaner provided added attraction to the exhibition. The visitors took keen interest in the experiment of invisible ink, elephant toothpaste and osmosis.
The students also displayed models and charts explaining the Circulatory System.
A camp on dental checkup was held for all visitors as well as for DPS HRIT Campus students, wherein eminent dentists examined and gave a report of their oral hygiene. A seminar on Health and Hygiene was conducted by the visiting doctors made them aware of what personal hygiene is and it's importance in staying healthy.
The workshop enabled students to understand the proper way of washing hands, brushing teeth and bathing. Students were quite responsive and interactive during the workshop. The interesting power point presentation and videos made the workshop engaging.
Schools can play a huge role in improving community health by providing a healthy environment and teaching positive health and hygiene habits.
In the Maths Lab the students showed the visitors how various mathematical instruments are integrated in their learning.
Principals conclave on 'Making Education Relevant for our Kids'
Taking the baton of social responsibility very seriously, Delhi Public School, HRIT Campus conducted a Principal’s Conclave inviting the growing schools in Ghaziabad for a workshop on the topic ‘ Making Education Relevant for Our Kids” .
The underlying thought was to make the schools grow as per the need of the 21st century. Session one was conducted by the Principal, Ms Meenakshi Chatterjee on Life Skill Development and integration with Lesson Plan with hands on practice. It was highly appreciated by the School Heads. The second session was conducted by the Head Mistress, Ms Sunita Shrivastava on the topic Multiple Intelligence and Integration with Daily Lessons. This too was much liked and lauded by the esteemed guests.
Constructive discussion and interaction followed the workshop. The Chairman Er Anil Agarwal presented the participation certificates to the attendees. He invited the schools to share the resources available at DPS HRIT, which he said belong to society and would like to share it with them in their endeavour to progress to the needs of the 21st century
Teachers’ Day Celebration
Invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesh on this memorable Day which also happens to be Ganesh Chaturthi, the students of DPS HRIT Campus prayed to the elephant God, the remover of obstacles to bless the occasion.
Students put up dances based on the ‘Retro’ theme. The teachers too looked like they had stepped out of the movies of 70s and 80s. The senior students organized various games for the teachers. The teachers did a ramp walk, played musical chairs, sang and danced to the demands of the loving students. Principal,DPS HRIT Campus, Ms Meenakshi Chatterjee thanked the students on behalf of the management and staff for the wonderful show. The Head Mistress Ms Sunita Shrivastava appreciated the cultural extravaganza . The function ended with a retro themed cake-cutting by the teachers led by Principal Maam.
Our erstwhile Ms Vaishali Agarwal and Ms Priyal congratulated the teachers on the occasion and lauded the efforts and the students.
Annual Extravaganza 2015 'JASHN E BACHPAN
Annual Day is certainly one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year in any school. Everyone in greatly excited for the event and the preparations are in full swing weeks before the actual event. It is a grand occasion for every member of the school including the students, teachers and even the other staff members who contribute sincerely to the growth and progress of the school all year long.
Our Annual Extravaganza was titled ‘JASHN E BACHPAN’. It was dedicated to our former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalaam. He was really a true legend for the youngsters of the country. He has inspired the new generation of our country through his life, career, workings and writings.
There is a lot of action and drama in a typical annual day of a school. The chief guest for the event was…………… Many activities were squeezed into the short time-frame and everyone eagerly participated in it. The kids dressed in their colorful dresses and put up a great extravaganza. Students who secured 10 CGPA were awarded certificates and trophies. The school magazine ‘DREAM WEAVER’ was released by the chief guest. The show portrayed the message of love and secularism. The guests and parents applauded the efforts of the students as well as the teachers and mentors
Annual Extravaganza 2014 “Sambandhita-A Saga of Relationship”
“Sambhandita” was a much talked affair in the town. Former Chief of Army Staff Gen. Dr. V.K Singh (AVSM, PVSM, YSM, MP) Minister of State of External Affairs and Minister of State (Independent charge) from North East Region was the Chief Guest of this splendor. Students of the Primary Wing presented odes to various relationships. Bringing out love, affection, duty, responsibility and emotion of every single relationship. In its full grandeur the students brought out relationship with mother, father, brother, sister, teacher, friend, animals as pets, God and Country leaving parents mesmerized and tied to the seats. The audiences were taken through each of this relationship connected with tiny thread of affection bringing tears of joy and smiles of happiness remembering one's relationships.
Delhi Public School HRIT Campus celebrated Janmashtami though a tableau presentation. Tiny tots dressed as various Characters of lord Krishna's life. The main reception area was decorated tastefully on the theme of various events of Lord Krishna's life. A tableau presentation by tiny tots dressed as various characters of Lord Krishna's life enacted important scenes on devotion which left the parents mesmerized.
Scenes of birth of Krishna, lifting of Govardhan Parvat and Radha Knema Ras Leela, Kans Vadh were deeply appreciated.
Plant a Tree-Plant a Life
Delhi Public School HRIT Campus along with the Inner wheel club of Ghaziabad North organised plantation day at the school premises by planting one hundred saplings around the school campus. Ms Sugandha Bharti President of the club, Mrs Deepanjali Agarwal Patron of the school and Mrs Meenakshi Chatterjee Principal with other members of staff started the programme which was supported by students and teachers. A number of separate activities were conducted to make students of Primary school learn about importance of plants. plants with medicinal values and impact of deforestation. Pre-Primary students took away cutouts of different plants while senior students took oath to protect the environment. Patron Deepanjali Agarwal said such activities promote children to be responsible towards the environment.
